Please email the Volunteer Coordinator Chris Jarvis (chris.jarvis@dgf.nm.gov) for the volunteer application forms.

After you fill out the forms and return them to Chris the Department will conduct a background check for any felony convictions or flagrant violations of Game and Fish laws.

​

Upon passing the background check, you will be asked to complete a free online ChildSafe course that generally takes about an hour.

 

Once we have received your ChildSafe certificate, you will be cleared to volunteer, and we will add you to our volunteer system. If you have indicated that you want to be a YHEC volunteer, Chris will connect you to Rick and Cody to get signed up for the event.
